Once in the White House, he and his attractive young family became the focus of continual public attention.

Each gold-layered silver Medallion is meticulously crafted by the world's most skilled artists and minters.

The painstaking process starts with a steel minting die. When the craftsmen are satisfied that the master die is flawless, only then is it placed into a massive proofing press. Polished .999 fine silver blanks are carefully placed by hand into the press, where they are struck one at a time to create proof-like silver Medallions. The entire minting process is identical to the one used by the world's most prestigious mints to create the finest Proof coins.

Each Medallion is then generously layered in 24-karat gold, and the Presidential portrait is perfectly colorized to the highest quality in the world. Finally, each is protectively lacquered to prevent tarnish and forever preserve its proof finish. The result is a historic Medallion that brilliantly captures every tiny detail of the original designs and exceeds even the highest standards of excellence.
